George V. Voinovich Gubernatorial Collection 1991-1998


Held at Ohio University Libraries' Mahn Center for Archives & Special Collections, the George V. Voinovich Gubernatorial Collection contains materials from the Office of the Governor of the State of Ohio from 1991-1998 including the Governor’s subject and correspondence files, records of his Chief of Staff, Director of Cabinet Affairs, Executive Assistants, Legislative Affairs, Boards and Commissions, Communications and Press Relations, Legal Affairs, Washington D.C. Office, Constituent Affairs, Director of Public Inquiries, Special Assistant for Policy Development, Director of Multi-Cultural Affairs, Scheduling, Director of Minority Affairs, Science and Technology Adviser, Director of Veterans Affairs, the Lieutenant Governor and the First Lady.

The items include speeches, reports, correspondence, photographs, audio and visual materials, clippings, printed materials, books, memos, legal briefs, legislative records, executive orders and proclamations, litigation, commutations, renditions, requisitions, clemencies, budgets, position papers and memorabilia.
